Lauren Nolen, CPA

With over 15 years of experience in the accounting and hospitality industries, Lauren is a CPA with professional experience with companies ranging in size from start-ups to global corporations.

Prior to starting Milepost 11 Consulting, Lauren was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Common House — a hospitality group specializing in membership-based social clubs including full-service restaurants & bars and private events. While there, she led the financial strategy for multiple entities' operations and financial accounts with multiple revenue streams (recurring membership, private events, food & beverage, office, programming, hotels, etc.).

Lauren also spent 11 years with Ernst and Young (EY) in Richmond, Virginia. During her time in the audit practice, her client portfolio included start-ups, private, and public companies, including several hospitality clients. Lauren also worked with EY's national quality group guiding teams through PCAOB and internal inspections and creating best practices in use by EY teams nationwide.

Lauren was most recently the Director of Technical Accounting at Smithfield Foods where she was a key team member in executing a successful IPO in January 2025.

Since starting Milepost 11 Consulting in 2024, Lauren's clients have included hospitality businesses on both a project-based and fractional CFO basis.
